Introduction

The Department of Tourism Management was founded in 2010. The department offers a Bachelor’s degree program in Tourism Management.  The main objective of the program is to train qualified employees, middle and upper level managers for the tourism industry by providing  contemporary, scientific and qualified training and education. In line with this objective, the students are equipped with various competencies such as a foreign language (English, German or French), information technologies, the knowledge and skills related to tourism industry, the tourism enterprises and contemporary business and management.

The duration of the program is 4 years. The first two-years of the program is carried out under the same curriculum with other departments of the Faculty of Tourism. In the third and fourth years of the program, the students are equipped with both theoretical and practical courses that are specific to their field. Each year, a total of 160 students are admitted to the program.

Career opportunities of the program: The graduates have plenty of career opportunities in lodging, food and beverage, travel and transportation businesses. Also, successful students can pursue an academic career.
